MOM'S HARVEST Organic Pongal Combo with Sugarcane Jaggery Balls

Procedure 

Wash rice and moong dal together. In a pressure cooker, cook the rice and dal with 3 cups of water until soft and mushy. In a separate pan, melt jaggery with a little water to make a syrup. Strain to remove impurities. Add the jaggery syrup to the cooked rice and dal mixture. Mix well and simmer on low heat. In another pan, heat ghee. Add cashews and raisins. Fry until cashews turn golden brown and raisins puff up. Add this to the pongal mixture. Stir in grated coconut and cardamom powder. Mix everything well and let it simmer for a few more minutes. Your Sarkari Pongal is ready to be served! Enjoy this delicious sweet dish.
